Cunard Line has undertaken more world voyages and taken more passengers around the globe than any other shipping line and is the indisputable world voyage expert.
In fact the concept of world cruising was invented by Cunard in 1922, when the elegant Laconia completed the first ever continuous circumnavigation of the globe purely for pleasure, visiting 22 ports in 130 days. In keeping with this grand tradition, Cunard will operate a full world circumnavigation on Queen Elizabeth in 2018, as well as a grand East-West voyage on Queen Mary 2. For the first time, Cunard are delighted to offer an exotic mid-duration voyage as Queen Victoria undertakes a circumnavigation of South America.

Queen Elizabeth offers guests the chance to experience the classic world voyage, a western circumnavigation of the globe featuring a transit of the iconic Panama Canal. This voyage offers a once-in-a-lifetime array of sights of some of the world’s greatest cities and their landmarks from the sea; sail under the Golden Gate Bridge, glide gracefully past Sydney Opera House, spend a day travelling through the breathtaking Inland Sea in Japan and gaze upon majestic Table Mountain as the ship approaches Cape Town.
Queen Mary 2's East-West voyage allows for full immersion in destinations in Australia and New Zealand. Experience lesser-known destinations such as Margaret River or Kangaroo Island and witness the magnificent scenery of New Zealand’s South Island. On departure from Australia Queen Mary 2 will visit Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand, allowing access to a wide array of exotic Asian cultures. On her return leg Queen Mary 2 will make a call to Aqaba for the ancient site of Petra before transiting the Suez Canal and calling at the classic Mediterranean destinations of Rome and Barcelona.
This voyage will be the first time that Cunard has offered a 2-3 month mid-duration voyage. Queen Victoria returns to South America in 2018, this time offering more immersive destinations and visiting the major South American cities as well as stunning scenic cruising in the Magellan Straits, Chilean Fjords and Cape Horn. In addition to the exploration of South America, Queen Victoria will call at the iconic and relaxing destinations of Barbados, Jamaica and Bermuda and transit the Panama Canal.
